This course is designed for new users of AutoCAD Electrical.
Previous basic knowledge of computers and AutoCAD is required. The course is aimed at Electrical Engineers who have good understanding of the electrical design process.
Objectives
This quick start day is intended to gain better documentation out of your design process quicker whether it be wiring diagrams, panel footprint drawings, general assembly’s or the automation of the project documentation.

- Changing the Attribute Text Height on Multiple Objects

Reverse Engineering
- Creating a panel layout prior to a schematic
- Creating a terminal rail prior to a schematic
Wiring diagrams
- Adding wire data to footprints
- Defining Wire Connection Order
- Discussing and selecting the correct wire connection annotation formats
- Annotating wire from/to information into panel footprints or traditional symbolic wiring diagrams
- Creation of Cable Diagrams
