MEPlinx : MEPworx Revit 3D plant generator

Cadline

[product-description]

MEPlinx is a Revit MEP add-on application which enhances the export of 2D semi co-ordinated mechanical services in to fully 3D co-ordinated layouts by importing the Mechanical services layouts into the linked Revit MEP model.

This allows the engineer/coordinator to examine how the services fit within the building model with respect to structural elements and other services. Change requirements can then easily be identified visually or by Navisworks.

A template library is provided with generic fittings and a fully mapped pipework and fittings database and the user can customise the uploaded template library file on a project by project basis to enhance the MEPlinx library with actual manufacturers’ content.

Ductwork and LPHW pipework can be imported on a system by system basis or as a complete project to ascertain how the services fit within the linked building model.

Utilising Revit functionality allows the users to view general wireframe views or specific cutaway or sections showing detailed areas of interest.

Once imported you can utilise all Revit functionality to amend layouts or to produce 2D drawings based on the 3D imports.
